Continence Services

Continence services help children, young people and adults who have bladder and/or bowel issues.

Nurses will assess each child/young adult and agree a plan of care to meet their needs. This might include:

  • advice and information
  • toileting support
  • day time and night time wetting support

Depending on where you live in Essex, different services will provide support to children, young people and adults who have bladder and/or bowel issues.  Below you can find out who provides the service where you live and where to find more information on how to access the service you need.
