Alamanda Therapy Animals
Alamanda Therapy Animals have a passion for using therapy animals with people who are sick, terminally ill or who have additional needs. They have a good understanding of the needs of the autistic child and know how important sensory experiences with animals are.
Alamanda Therapy Animals include:
- mini dachshund
- mini horses and a larger pony
- donkey
- mini rabbits
- skinny pigs
- blind Japanese bantam chicken
- Keetso cat
They offer therapy trips to special schools, hospices, charity events or single family visits. They are proud of their animals and the difference they make wherever they go. Applause, the tiny white American miniature horse has been doing indoor therapy trips since 2007 and he is a total hit wherever he goes!
Cost
Alamanda Therapy Animals are a not-for-profit charity so they just ask for donations towards the costs.
