
Camp Jojo – Camping for Children with Complex Needs
Camp Jojo is an accessible camp for families with children with complex needs. The camp can support six to seven families at a time and allows children with complex needs and disabilities and their families to enjoy a camping holiday in Essex.
Families and their children can camp for three days on an adapted campsite on Ivy Farm in East Mersea. The camp will support whatever equipment you need. Their team of carers will also take as much or as little of the caring role you would like.
There are lots of activities that you can get involved in, including:
- bushcraft
- foraging
- beach time
- tomahawk throwing
- feeding farm animals
- campfires
- tai chi
- music
- massage
