Children’s Service – The Broomfield Hospital
The Broomfield Hospital provides care for children in its children’s dedicated outpatients department and some specialist services are provided in the main outpatients department.
The hospital has a 24 bedded children’s ward and an 8 bedded children’s assessment unit that aims to prevent unnecessary admission to hospital.
The Paediatricians at MEHT provide for the ongoing medical needs and necessary referrals for children with SEN. This service ensures they are medically supported optimizing their learning opportunities.
