Contact (previously Contact a Family) is a national charity for families with disabled children.
They provide information, advice and support. They bring families together so they can support each other. They campaign to improve their circumstances, and for their right to be included and equal in society.
Everything Contact do is about continually improving the lives of families with disabled children. They achieve this through working directly with parents and carers and are driven by what they are told is important.
Contact have a helpline (0808 808 3555) to advise parents on all aspects of caring for a disabled child. They also have a website full of resources that cover a range of topics and they run workshops and information sessions across the UK.
