
Family Innovation Fund (FIF) Early Help – Essex
Family Innovation Fund early help services support children and young people aged 8 to 19 years and their parents, who are not already receiving statutory or specialist services.
The services are run by The Children’s Society, Kids Inspire and Southend YMCA. Support is offered around:
- healthy family relationships
- emotional wellbeing
- good behaviour choices
- social connections
Who can access
They must meet one of the following criteria:
- moderate learning difficulties (without an Education and Health Care Plan)
- low level behavioural issues (without an Education and Health Care Plan)
- home educated
- part time school timetables
- risk of exclusion
- risky behaviours (of self or others) that jeopardise personal safety
- parents/carers in conflict (cohabiting/separated/stepparents)
