Hamelin Trust
The Hamelin Trust is a charity which supports children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities, and their carers. They provide different types of help across Essex, including:
The Exchange
The Exchange is for people aged 16 and above with a range of disabilities. There is the chance to take part in different activities, such as personal skills, education or leisure.
The centre is wheelchair-accessible. It has a sensory room, one to one teaching rooms, computer room and areas to enjoy different activities and socialise.

Hydropool
The hydropool is in Rochford. It has a ceiling hoist allowing hoisting from changing rooms into the hydropool. Two of the three changing rooms are equipped with large showers, changing beds and toilets. The centre is wheelchair accessible.

Short break service
Gowlands is a short break service for young people and adults with a range of disabilities aged 16 and above. Anyone requiring short break provision can access this service.

Residential bungalow
The residential bungalow is in Wickford. It is CQC registered and provides supported accommodation to five people with multiple disabilities.

Day opportunities
Day opportunities offer training and work experience for people aged 16 and above with learning disabilities. Projects include: furniture restoration, IT and textile recycling. There is also a horticultural project based in Rochford.

Community support
The community support (outreach) service provides the support needed to help people aged 0 to 65 with learning disabilities to live in their own homes. One to one support ranges from one hour a week to 24-hour support, seven days a week.
