InterAct
InterAct is a charity which offers clubs and activities to people aged 10 to 25 with learning disabilities and additional needs. Young people have the opportunity to try new things, socialise and make new friends through activities such as:
- youth clubs
- trips to the cinema
- ice-skating
- day trips to the zoo
- overnight breaks at an activity centre
InterAct cannot offer personal care or one-to-one support but young people may bring a carer.
Clubs and activities are offered after school, in the evening, weekends and during school holidays throughout the year. These are based in Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester and Tendring.
Emotional wellbeing and mental health training
InterAct also offers mental health and emotional wellbeing training for young people and adults. Please contact the service to find out more.
