Paul Su Children’s Hearing Centre – BTUH
Paediatric audiology services at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals (BTUH) provide neonatal hearing screening on the maternity wards and paediatric clinical care for children and young people in the children’s outpatient department.
Our team of dedicated and experienced newborn hearing screeners and paediatric audiologists tailor services to suit the needs of both the patient and their families whilst working alongside other professionals.
All newborn babies are automatically offered a hearing screen as part of maternity care. For all other children we will need a written referral from GP, ENT or paediatrician.
Who the service provides for
We cater for children and young people aged 0-18 years as well as those with additional needs up to the age of 25.
