
The Prince’s Trust
The Prince’s Trust is a youth charity which helps disadvantaged 11 to 30 year olds into employment, education, training or volunteering.
They offer different programmes for young people in Essex.
Get Into programme
- for 16 to 30 year olds
- courses run from two days to a few weeks
- opportunity to work with employers such as Marks and Spencer, NHS or HSBC and improve CV and interview skills
Get Started programme
- for 16 to 25 year olds
- opportunity to take part in a week of activities
- chance to work towards a group challenge and develop skills and confidence
Team programme
- for 16 to 25 year olds
- 12 week personal development programme which is run by the Essex Youth Service in Basildon, Chelmsford, Colchester, Tendring and Harlow
- opportunity to take part in a community programme, gain work experience and develop English and Maths skills
Enterprise programme
- for 18 to 30 year olds
- programme to support young people interested in setting up their own business
Development Awards
- for 18 to 25 year olds
- receive a grant to cover course fees, equipment or childcare costs so you can make the step into work, education or training.
