Support 4 Sight help people with sight loss, their carers and families.
Support is offered around coming to terms with losing their sight and to cope long term with any social, emotional and practical issues.
Equipment
You can try out equipment at the two centres in Saffron Walden and Chelmsford.
You can make an appointment or drop in for information and advice, training or to trial the low vision equipment.
One to one support
Support 4 Sight have Eye Clinic Liaison Officers who provide practical and emotional support to people who have been recently diagnosed with an eye condition.
They help people to understand their diagnosis, deal with their sight loss and keep their independence.
Home visits
They also offer home visits to help people continue to live independently in their homes.
Social events
Support 4 Sight offer social events, including coffee mornings, speaking book clubs and organised outings.
