Thera East provides support to people with a learning disability in their own home, in the community and for short breaks (respite).
We can provide whatever support is needed for a person to live in their own home, including helping them to find a suitable home in the area they want to live in.
Our community support teams can provide support starting from an hour a week. We support people with things such as:
- Visiting leisure facilities
- Attending health appointments
- Cooking or cleaning
- Going on holiday or day trips
- Personal care
- Learning independence skills
- Going to work or college
We also offer short breaks (respite) through Stonecroft, which is based in Braintree, Essex.
We are part of the Thera Group, a national group of companies specialising in providing support to people with a learning disability. This means we can also offer access to specialist support such as financial advocacy and managing money and benefits (through Dosh), finding somewhere to live (through Forward Housing) and quality checks (through The Quality Company).
