Young Persons Counselling Service (YPCS)

The Young Persons Counselling Service (YPCS) is for young people aged 13 to 25 who are experiencing emotional difficulties.  It can help them with:

  • anxiety and depression
  • parent’s separation or divorce
  • relationship difficulties
  • coping with bullying
  • loss of somebody close to you
  • lack of confidence and low self-esteem
  • sexuality issues
  • abuse or other traumatic experiences

The service work with young people for as long as needed.

Who the service provides for

11-18 years of age (up to 25 years if young person has a EHC plan)

Hours of operation

Monday to Thursday, 9am to 9pm.
