Peabody South East – Essex Outreach Support Service

The Essex Outreach Support Service supports people over the age of 16 and is aimed at those who are experiencing a range of problems including financial hardship, health related problems and accessing or maintaining accommodation in their local community.

The service can work with people regardless of what kind of accommodation they live in, for example council accommodation, privately rented, housing association, being an owner/occupier or currently being homeless.

If you receive support, you will meet your Outreach worker on a regular basis, depending on your individual needs. The length of time in support varies dependent on the urgency of your issue.

The service now offers a 3 stream system, from one-off pieces of support to a maximum of 6 months for the more complex cases however, you may access the service as many times as is needed.

Referrals from external agencies are welcomed as well as directly via the free phone number (0800 28 888 83), free text service (88020 FMSupport) or in person at one of the service drop-ins:
