They run different projects in Brentwood and the surrounding areas.
HoursWorth (18 and above)
HoursWorth is a supported employment scheme which helps adults with additional needs to access paid work. Adults are supported by a job coach.
This cafe is based at Sawyers Church and is open during term time. It employs people with a learning disability.
Sawyers Church also offers an inclusive social club for adults with and without a disability. They run club nights and food nights. On the last Tuesday of every month, adults are supported to organise an activity to do together such as swimming, going to a pub, football match or local library.
Cafe Art (18 and above)
These workshops offer people with a learning disability to make art in a relaxed and friendly cafe environment at Sawyers Church.
They run on Wednesdays, 10am to 12pm and Fridays, 10.30am to 12.30pm (term time only). Read more on the art workshops.
